Established in 1974, the Nor'Westers Athletic Association (NWAA) is a leading provider of youth, women's, and men's rugby programs in the Edmonton Region. Our mission is to provide rugby playing opportunities to individuals of all abilities and ages, and to develop player athletes to their highest potential. We believe in fostering a love for the sport and instilling core values like respect, teamwork, and perseverance in our players.

Fancy Bermudez
Canada Womens 7s & 15s
Saracens Women - England Premiership Women's Rugby
Fancy, along with Team Canada, recently secured a silver medal in the 2025 Rugby World Cup along with a silver medal in Rugby 7s at the 2024 Olympics. Fancy has been with the Team Canada squad since 2021. Additionally, Fancy plays with the Saracens Women, an English rugby union club located in Hendon, London, which competes in Premiership Women's Rugby, the highest level of women's rugby in the country.
Tyler Duguid
Montpellier Hérault Rugby - France Top 14
France Mens National 15s
Tyler has been part of the French Top 14 club since the 2020-21 season and secured the league championship with them in 2022. His contract extends until 2027. Montpellier Hérault Rugby, a professional French rugby union club located in Montpellier, Occitanie, takes its name from the Hérault river. The club competes in the top level of the French league system, the Top 14. Tyler also recently joined the France national mens team in a tour to New Zealand for test matches against the All Blacks.

Abby recently played for Loughborough Lightning which are a women's rugby union club based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England, which competes in Premiership Women’s Rugby, the highest level of women's rugby in the country.

Canada Senior Mens - Pacific Nations Cup
Nola Gold Rugby - Major League Rugby
Kaden's rise to the national men's ranks has been swift participating in the Pacific Nations Cup tour with Team Canada getting starts against Japan, USA, and Tonga. Kaden also recently played with Nola Gold Rugby which is the Major League Rugby team of New Orleans for the 2025 season.
