Ancient Nor’Westers Athletic Association (ANAA) Fund

In 2011 the Ancient Nor’Westers Athletic Association (ANAA) Endowment Fund was established to provide a method by which Nor’Westers, friends and supporters could support the NWAA through charitable donations. The ANAA endowment is held with the Canadian Rugby Foundation (CRF) because as a Registered Charitable Foundation, the CRF can issue charitable donation tax receipts to donors. The revenue and matching grants attracted by the Fund are used by the NWAA to fund our junior program, scholarships, and capital projects to enhance our Club facilities.

JUNIOR PROGRAM

Funds received from the ANAA are used by the NWAA to help fund our junior programs including balls, equipment, jerseys, etc.

dAVE "dUTCH" hOLLAND sCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are presented annually to a junior female and male player continuing their education at a post- secondary institution. These individuals have shown dedication and leadership over their Nor’Wester rugby career, given back to the club by volunteering their time for club events, junior coaching, refereeing and will continue to play senior rugby with the Nor’Westers in the future.

Capital Projects

Funds received from the ANAA are used by the NWAA to fund improvements or maintenance to the Clubhouse and fields.

What is the Company of 100?

Friends and supporters of the Ancient Nor'Westers Athletic Association (ANAA) who want to help raise $120,000 in donations to build an endowment fund held by the Canadian Rugby Foundation (CRF). The ANAA endowment is held with the CRF because as a Registered Charitable Foundation, the CRF can issue charitable donation tax receipts to donors.

How can I join the Company of 100?

Donations of $500+ qualify for membership in the Company. Larger donation are welcomed. Smaller donations to the ANAA Fund are gratefully accepted, but do not qualify for Company of 100 membership.

Click on the Canadian Rugby Foundation
Enter your donation amount.
In the "Apply Your Donation to a Fund ..." drop down box, select: "Ancient Nor’Westers Endowment Fund".
Send the (optional) Ecard to: In honour of “ANAA” at doncparadis@gmail.com noting the donation amount in the message (this allows us to reconcile our records with the CRF).
