WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE RUGBY ACCOMPLISHMENT SO FAR?
That's a tough one. I think either traveling to Vancouver last year and winning North Shore Sevens or winning gold at the Summer Games this summer. I think that's some of the best rugby I've played! By the end of both tournaments our team really came together and I was very proud of what we had accomplished. Our hard work and determination really paid off!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT PLAYING FOR THE NWAA?
I love the sense of community. Everyone is so friendly. I love staying at the clubhouse after practice and chatting with teammates. I've made so many friends I know I'll have forever!

DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE RUGBY MEMORY? ANY FUNNY STORIES?
When I first started to play rugby all I wanted to do was tackle. I came from wrestling so I was already pretty good at contact. Handling the ball made me really nervous and I wasn't comfortable with passing either. I told my dad that I only wanted to be a defensive player, he told me that's not really how the game worked. It all changed for me when I scored my first try. After that I realized handling the ball wasn't so bad after all!
